Our philosophy is grounded in a belief in the importance of locally driven development projects. Community programs build goodwill and a spirit of togetherness for all who participate.
Where We Work
FOCODEV currently works throughout Menchum Division, which comprises of seven districts with over 200,000 population and covering over 4500 square kilometer area. While our office headquarter is in Wum District, we have field teams and volunteers located strategically throughout these seven districs, as well as a liaison office in California, USA.
Vision and Mission
FOCODEV envisions united, productive and empowered communities which will be major pillars in the economic and social development of the Wum municipality, the broader Menchum Division and ultimately Cameroon.
Overview
The Foundation for Community Development (FOCODEV) is a not-for-profit organization with registration certificate NoNW/GP/040/12/15008, registered at the North West Regional register of cooperative societies and common initiative groups in compliance with Law No 92/006 of 14 August 1992 relating to cooperatives and common initiative groups in the Republic of CAMEROON.
